Griffith University’s G51 Smart Water Research Centre is a state-of-the-art Green-Star Research Facility. Architects, Phillips Smith Conwell undertook a sun study before the building was designed to select the best orientation of the building. To further enhance the green star rating, the Sheraton Series® sunblades were also used as a way to combat the effect of the sun and as a visual feature.
