St Bede’s Catholic College showcases a series of internal Louvreclad Barossa Series® 150x45 vertical batten screens that curve to create social nooks and define the internal circulation trail which SHAC architects describe as the ‘Peregrine Trail’ (Peregrination: a meandering journey of discovery). Powdercoated in Decowood Silky Oak timber like finish, the screen brings a feeling of real timber and warmth to this contemporary interior.
Our team love that SHAC architects have expressed this support strap with Dulux Night Sky Matt contrasting the Decowood Silky Oak timber grain finish. Louvreclad Sheraton Series® 75mm aluminium modular sun blades were designed and engineered as horizontal window hoods to provide sunshade to the northern façade.
The south-west corner of Block B is then shaded utilising Barossa Series® 150x45 vertical aluminium battens with 200mm pitch. Dulux Duratec Intensity Sunshine powder coat finish provides a bold architectural feature that contrasts the grey metallic cladding panels.
Louvreclad PM Darren White says, Richard Crookes have been very helpful on this project, always providing clear communication and coordination which minimises any hold ups. We look forward to working with the team again on the next stage of this project!
